LOVE LETTERS
CANCER SCREENING CAMPAIGN
(CLIENT: GENENTECH)
This consumer campaign was developed to fuel action around an urgent need: increasing cancer screening rates among Black and Hispanic women by unleashing a powerful force ... love. Crafted from real stories of women with a loved one impacted by cancer, each execution features a "love letter" to a friend or family member who either survived cancer or lost their battle to cancer.
Love Letters was highly effective in reaching its audience, with over 2.5 million social media impressions in its first six weeks after launch and a segment on PIX 11 News. Athough it was initially created as a pilot program in the NYC area, Love Letters caught the attention of community organizations across the country and expanded to 17 states.
